Regretfully I cannot get good Chinese food where I live now. I was spoiled for many years with three fantastic Chinese sit-down restaurants within ordering distance of my apartment, but here all it is is the really cheap stuff (the Chinese diaspora out of DC fled to the northwest suburbs and I'm more directly northeast of the city). I have a soft spot for Taiwanese cuisine, having lived there from 1992-1993 studying Mandarin (which I've mostly forgotten at this point).
