Frosted

Up and about (and have been for a couple of hours). Awoke to windows in my room which were frosted about half-way up (bottom to half-way up). All inside the window, not outside. The main room, where the heaters were on all night, were a little less frosted. Pretty, but brrr!

Whoever designed the Calvin Klein™ boxer-briefs certainly knew how to emphasize the basket.

Snow?

Was clearing out some stuff and came across some mail from a couple weeks ago (whoops). One of the items was a holiday card from the Mayor with a snowman on the front and the title "Let it Snow."

Um, hello, how much do we waste on snow removal in this city? How badly does it shut the area down when it snows even a little bit (witness the SUV that flipped over onto the Metrorail tracks yesterday in less than a 1/2 inch of the stuff)?

I think the man was nuts for picking this one. A simple "happy holidays" would have been better, if more bland.
