Heard back from the family friend about the China-related job this morning, just an "I've not forgotten you, but I'm still working on some things at this end" email.

And you know, I'm not in any rush either. :)

You can tell you work in an "older" office when...

... you're included in the survey group to see who might take advantage of an "early retirement" or "buyout" scenario. ;-)

The good thing is, I understand they're looking to backfill two recent vacancies with people who are right out of law school, so I will no longer be the youngest attorney once those are filled. Yay!
