Woke up, still not 100% caught up from the lack of sleep from the fire, thought much better than yesterday, so I declared today to be this week's rest day from exercise. :-) Besides, it's all rainy out and I don't feel like running in the rain this morning. Ick.

I love when I have to tell political appointees how to be political.

"No sir, because they only put it in the conference report language and not in the statute, you are not legally obligated to do what they directed you to do, but I have to say you'd be fucking stupid to ignore what they told you to do."

(Of course, what I said "foolish," not "fucking stupid," but that's what I was thinking.)
