I also hate it when a person will sit in the aisle seat, leaving the window seat empty, thereby blocking your access to it. They'd probably let you sit there if you insisted, and I understand if they're getting off at the next stop, but to me it just signals, "These are my two seats. Don't bother me." Oh, and it's also irritating when a group of, say, four or so will get on and occupy four separate pairs of seats, all across from each other like a square.
