Watches and weather

It's far too nice to be inside today.

Walked down to L'Enfant promenade to see if I could get batteries for my watches (the last working one died Saturday evening). The jewelry store does do batteries (loved the lady's face when I hauled out four), and will have them ready this afternoon after 4. Sweet - I can coordinate to my outfits again (yes, watches are jewelry, and yes, they should coordinate).

Otherwise it is absolutely lovely outside, at least down here in L'Enfant. I'm sure the apartment is roasting, but all the windows are open for the kitties, so they'll get some nice breezes.

I have a thing about watches and have done the same sort of thing, walking in with multiples for them to put new batteries into. They have to send some of them off to pressurize after changing the batteries. Today is Breitling Aerospace day - titanium gray and gold with black face (charcoal gray pinstrip suit, white shirt with geay nailhead checked tie. LOL. See, you are not alone in this world. :)
