Don't hate me because I'm blind

I have yet to see a single cicada. I feel cheated.

But in further cicada news, be careful if you eat them because you might be allergic to them.

Me neither!

All I've seen is an empty cocoon (or whatever they're called) on a tree branch.

I saw one outside the State Department, on the sidewalk. It was a pitful, confused-looking thing.

Oh - you are more than welcome to come out to my place in Laurel, where you can not only see them, but hear them getting louder by the hour...

grrr

Jeez... I thought you'd see and hear them more since you're so close to the park. I've seen one near Malcom X park, but that's it. I'm missing the sound. I know it's loud as hell, but I liked it as a kid. I'm visiting the boyfriend out at his place in Alexandria tomorrow night. He says I'll see and hear plenty of them tomorrow night. Yay!

Come on over, we have plenty!

I've only seen 1.... and it had to be pointed out to me. I'm disappointed.... I wanted to see huge swarms of Biblical proportions!!! Last time Brood X hit I was at my Aunt and Uncle's at Smith Mountain Lake and they were EVERYWHERE.

I had a dream/nightmare last night about these GIGANTIC cicadas coming inside. They were like the size of my head!
