It may indeed be a California thing... Most everyone I know here gets all wierd when water starts to crystalize outdoors.

Myself, I don't have enough natural insulation to drop my drawers all the way... Hell, my nipples get hard just stepping out of a scalding hot shower! (Yes, even with the door closed to keep the heat in the room)
