It Broke

Not my day for stuff. First, I discovered the zipper on my coat is broken (luckily I have a backup). Then the roomba, which claimed to have a full battery, crapped out in about 10 seconds of vacuuming. Then the Xbox 360 decided to freeze up on me. Multiple times. I dread the thought of having to send that beast in. Plus I really wanted to wreak havoc with my minions tonight on Overlord.

None of these are insurmountable, or even particularly difficult, but they are annoying.

if it DOES need to go in for repair, it is, in fact, a relatively painless process. I had to send mine in after only having it for nine months, and was back in action within two weeks, I think. did it JUST lock up, or did you have the dreaded red rings?

Sounds EXACTLY like what happened with mine. I hope you are still within warranty. I do not think they ship boxes to return the console to them anymore, but you will still want to call and speak with them. You're likely to see the RROD if the console sees continued use (and depending on how MS handles it, may need to force those lights)

I would say my experience with the whole thing was positive, outside of necessitating repair in the first place.
