Habits & Queers

I'm trying to say in the habit (since I'm starting anew here at the new BGA) of clearing my desk before I leave at the end of the day. And may I just say that it was so nice to come in to a clean desk.

("You're so nice. You're not good, you're not bad, you're just nice...")

There was supposedly a GLBT/Queer group here at the BGA, and a web search finds their home page (last updated in 1998!!!). The more general GLOBE website does not list an active organization, though. I emailed the general address that's listed in our system, but no word back as yet. The gentleman who was the previous contact is still here at the agency, but I feel a little awkward dropping him a line since there does not appear to be an active group any more.

I need to get into the same habbit with my desk. Hopefully you can keep up with it. 1998 was a pretty long time ago. Back in the day when Sodomy wasn't as legal....

My boss has apparently commented on my desk clutter to my co-workers. "How does he get anything done?" was the comment. Julie's response was, "95% of his job is done on the computer. It's not like he's marking up things that he actually has to spread across his desk." Phew! Saved.
