Hmm... that's pretty cool but I'm not sure I'd be real keen on working in a building like that. I think one of the problems with concrete is the asture and uniform greyness of it. This concrete still looks grey and lifeless and so from what I can see it still gives that drag and dull feeling off...

However, if they could make the fibers slightly bigger, make them in a uniform pattern/alignment, and/or color the concrete or glass itself, that might help with the whole scenario.

Of course, I'm just going by the pictures presented and it may be different in real life.

Otherwise, yes it's a pretty neat idea and one wonders why it wasn't thought of sooner.

Couldn't help but think of transparent aluminum when I read that... *coughTREKGEEKcough*

I shared it with some other friends and one of them said, "Yeah, you can be in a parking garage and look up and see the shadow of the BMW that's probably going to cut you off as you try and leave."
