Books

While out looking for Chinese language e-books (damn few, if any, out there, at least that I've found in my very limited searching thus far), I was dismayed to see that Orientalism (i.e., objectification of the Orient as someplace which is populated with peoples 'mysterious and incrutable') is alive and well in modern fiction in 'Merica. I thought we had killed off that particular line of thinking?
