Cats are naturally carnivorous, yes, and no, mine are not vegan, they eat lamb and fish and what not in their Iams cat food. It is a bit of a conundrum, but I've chosen to feed them meat by-products as I think it's ulimately better for them. I got them pre-going vegan (though not by much, about 3 months). Were I to consider pets now I would probably not get any.
