Normalcy

Back to normal temps today. Hooray, can put the uber-coat back in the closet.

After last night's post I made major dents in the shopping. Yay for Amazon. Also yay for Petco since I can order the cats' litter and food there and not have to go to the brick 'n mortar (the shipping cost is balanced out by the savings on tax and taxi). Now I just need to sign up for Peapod and I'd never have to leave the apartment. ;-)

Wait, you have a full-service gym and pool in your apartment??

Not an indoor pool, no, but we do have an outdoor one. And I wouldn't call the fitness room "full-service" but it does have treadmills, ellipticals and and exercise bikes.

Are your cats vegan too?!

Aren't cats naturally carnivorous? What a conundrum.

Cats are naturally carnivorous, yes, and no, mine are not vegan, they eat lamb and fish and what not in their Iams cat food. It is a bit of a conundrum, but I've chosen to feed them meat by-products as I think it's ulimately better for them. I got them pre-going vegan (though not by much, about 3 months). Were I to consider pets now I would probably not get any.
