Firefox

I downloaded and installed Firefox. Not because I have anything against Safari (I haven't even opened IE yet), but because there was no "status bar" at the bottom of the Safari screen, and I'm used to being able to see what a link my mouse is hovering over is going to link to before I have to click on it. Couldn't see any way to get that , easily, within Safari, so in comes the Firefox.

I think Safari does that, if i remember correctly it's in the preferences.... i might justbe confused tho, that happens a lot.

Yup, Safari does that, I don't remember where the setting is, but I found it and decided to keep Safari instead of moving to Firefox. I deleted IE.

I wish I could delete IE. Some of my work-specific sites enforce an IE-only policy, the rat bastards.

Command + / toggles the status bar in Safari

There are a bunch of options on the view menu. The status bar option is about halfway down after the bookmarks bar item.
