As expected, any pretense at work today is a futile exercise. Go me. :)

And yet they persist in trying to give me things to handle. Silly humans.

T minus 15 until we can leave for the going-away luncheon. And I'm getting promises of many more lunches in the next few weeks since my staff is not having a general party for everyone in the organization to say goodbye. Whee. Free food is good.

So, all is proceeding according to plan (he said, trying not to sound all gravelly like the Emperor from Star Wars).

Waiting for a call from a coworker about going out after work tonight. Whee. :) If no call, I think I may head home, get out of the suit, get some food, then head out anyway. ;p Not in a mood to stay in tonight for some reason...

Damn it, damn it, damn it. AIM won't boot, so can't chat with anyone. Don't want to watch TV. Don't want to go out without someone to be catty with. Grrr.
