Rule #1 of a head cold: friends should be avoided, but co-workers are fair game as potential new viral carriers.

^_^

Okay, who said it could get cold again? Entirely not fair ("Life is pain, highness..."), though I did sleep better last night than I have in about a week.

Cute morning moment: coming in on [livejournal.com profile] lioncub as he groggily looks up at me and I ask him, "Weren't you going to be headed out the door right about now? So you could be at work early?" *cue cute grin from him and head being burrowed back under pillows* So precious. :)

I suppose at some point it will make sense to me why the General Counsel keeps having me sit in on all these meetings. In the meantime, I try to a) stay awake and b) learn more about the BGA from the resultant back-and-forth between players. So far I've learned that the GC is pretty darned insistent on getting hir way in these meetings (as in, "We will do it this way, period.").

Ever so lovely when the skin which the doctor had lanced around the cuticle decides to peel off.

Um, ewwwwwww.

So anyway, breathing was doing well today, and then the 11th hour of the 12 hour sudafed hit. ;-p 12 hours my foot. And an hour and a half after popping more I'm still only partially clear. I still say we should have an external drainage valve on sinuses so we could just go in and clean them out. Yuck.

Wish me luck on the ankle (since I'm discussing all of my current health ickies) - I go see the podiatrist tomorrow morning.

Losing it

Okay, now I know I'm losing it. I went to go have my nightly dose of adult tang and instead of dumping the powder into the glass with the spoon I dumped it into my sipper bottle.

I don't know about you, but Metamucil through a straw sounds pretty icky to me. ;-p

Relaxation

A session of evening yoga is a good thing. *contented sigh*

I picked up one of my paperbacks, Shadowdance by Robin Wayne Bailey, and started reading it on the morning commute. I think I needed something to read which was not going to be terribly thought provoking. I've been reading so many other things that need me to contemplate things that reading on the commute was getting to be somewhat of a drag. I don't have to plan my life during every second of down time, nor do I need to rehash it, either.

The dentist has evidently put the fear of plaque in me - flossing is my new evening habit (right after the neti and the yoga, or perhaps before them both, but all three are now part of the evening ritual). I do like "ritual" and this fits in nicely with the rest of mine.
