I want to be all philosophical and deep and stuff, but honestly I just don't have the energy for it today. ;-p
Work proceeds apace. Just popped something I was reviewing back to the program office because they made a stupid mistake and cited the wrong source (right language, wrong source). Easily fixed and it should come back to me soon.
This is not quite as bad as the comma mistake they keep making on indictments they want me to sign in the grand jury - "Person X, also known as Person Y and Person Z did on A date..." when what they mean is, "Person X, also known as Person Y, and Person Z did on A date..." In other words, there are two persons (X, Z) and one of them (X) has an alias (Y). Written the way they like, it appears that there's one person (X) who has two aliases (Y, Z). Silly people.

Talked to one of the fellow residents of the building in which
lioncub and I live (a.k.a., "a constituent") and she confirmed that there is a problem with the building's AC system - something to do with the boiler room. So, it's not just our imagination, there actually is something wrong and that's why it's so miserably hot in here. Joy!
I still think a dehumidifier might not be a bad idea.
