Second Cups

I'm now sipping on my second attempt at making coffee this morning.

The first attempt ended tragically when, after I poured the coffee into my mug, it was discovered that some bug had crawled in and died in said mug at some point after I last used it.

Much soap was used in the aftermath, as well as many, many words that would make sailors blush.

The second set is, thankfully, bug-free.  And tasty.

Home again

So, I'm home today to accept delivery of lioncub's new bedroom furniture.

So of course I'm online and chatting with friends via Trillian.

JH says it's a good step, in my maintenance of the imaginary bf (he and lioncub have yet to meet), that I'm getting furniture for him.  And that the evite to the b-day party from him was a good step, too.

I'm glad he has a sense of humor about the whole situation. :-)

Otherwise, other than the bug incident (see last post), it's been quiet.  I hope the delivery people show up soon, I want free of my (metaphorical) tethers.
