I just asked our law librarian if we could put a new general English dictionary on the wish list for this next year. We have two such beasts on stands in the library, but the copyrights on them are older than I am. Not by much, but still, it's kinda hard to look at current English usage when the dictionary predates your existence on this planet.
You go, Cho

Oooh, and one more quote:
Animal activists are fierce. They are the most terrifying people. I just wish they would start working for human rights. We need them. Desperately. You don’t fuck with vegans. They are mean. They are scary. They are hungry. How true. ;-)

Oooh, and one more quote:
Well, I found out there are people out there who really like me, and who are pissed off to begin with. And they just need that much of a reason to go off. So when I had posted all these e-mails, I inadvertenly activated al Gayda. That’s one sleeper cell you do not want to wake up. These queens get up on the wrong side of the bed. They started an al Gayda training camp where they offer Pilates.Al Gayda. I love it. Where do I sign up?
Happy, happy Moose

I finally broke down and ordered another keyboard for my Palm. I had one for the old Palm IIIx, and it was fantastic for typing out long entries and the like. I tried the new ultra-thin a couple months back and it sucked gorilla butt. It would work perfectly right after you installed the drivers, but after that keys stuck, or repeated, or wouldn't register at all no matter how many times you smacked them. So, it got sent back to Amazon (first time for everything).
They have this IR-based keyboard as well, but I didn't want something where I'd have to keep popping batteries into it, so I ordered the regular Palm Portable Keyboard. It arrived this evening, and is working perfectly. Yay!
