I fought the coma and the coma won

Had lunch with
claddah76 today here at the BGA cafeteria. Post-lunch I was in desperate need of a nap (food coma!), so I sat at my desk, closed my eyes and dozed lightly for about 15 minutes, until
ironmanjt called me back from an earlier phone conversation.
This new office is much more monkish than my last one was. Yes, it's great to have my own office so I can do things like sit up with my eyes closed and not worry about getting yelled at, but at the same time I don't have nearly the contact with other people that I'm used to getting and my ESFJ self finds that a tad disconcerting.
Part of it is, I'm sure, my relative newness in the office - it has't fully trickled out that the fiscal law attorney is here now and open for business, so I'm not getting the calls and stop-bys that I used to get at the last place. But part of it is also the physical structure of the office, where I (and four other colleagues) am more isolated from the rest of the office since we're across the hall and down a little from da boss in a separate mini-suite. Unless you're coming specifically to see one of us, there's no reason why anyone would be just passing through, which cuts down on a lot of office chatter/gossip/etc.
But anyway. The 15 minutes was enough, and now am once more hitting this memo they assigned to me yesterday. It's not due for two weeks and I had already written the majority of the thing in an email to da boss last week (before it became a formal request), so is just a matter of polishing now.
