Ran into several people who expressed condolences over the ankle on the bus this morning, including this incredibly cute old woman who said if I had not gotten a seat she'd have given me hers because she knew how tough it was to walk around in one of those casts. I thanked her and assured her that I normally did my best to move out of the way to the back of the bus and never took the front seats unless I absolutely needed them, like now. But she was so cute and so sweet to offer that.
