Just checked my T-Mobile account, to pay the monthly bill, and checked this month's activity (with a week to go in the billing cycle). The previous month's bill showed that I had gone over the 300 text messages included in the plan, by 50 messages (an additional $2.50 that month). So, I called and upped the plan to the 1k messages plan, for an additional $4 a month. And now, checking this month's, it's a good thing I did, because I'm already at 375 messages; 80 messages over the 300 is the same cost per month as the 1k plan (80 x $0.05 a message = $4).

Whee.
