Adventures in Swimming

legalmooseNice swim this morning. I'm definitely nowhere near that level yet, but I think it'll be a good group with which to get involved.
The pool itself was HUGE compared to what I'm used to swimming (50 meters versus 25 meters), but did about 800 meters all told, I think. Maybe more, but not much more.
Biked down there, and had to put air in the back tire once. Got out from the swim, and the tire was flat as the proverbial pancake. So, off to City Bikes to get it replaced (since, for once, I had neglected to bring my kit for replacing it myself). heterodoxy and we chatted briefly. The trip up was made easier by a ride on Metrorail.
Now I'm at Tryst, finally getting my coffee and enjoying the free wireless network while I wait forcladdah76 to show up for lunch. Fun day so far. :-)
