Did not go out to run with the Front Runners, but did go out to run.
Was the first time I've run outdoors, in the park, since I broke the ankle back in October. Was not exactly a triumphant return, but hey, it was a return. Was hyper-careful about watching my step (go fig!), and did toss a branch or two off the trail rather than suffer them to lie there as a later obstacle.
Plodded along, paid attention to my heart rate monitor, and generally cursed my bad genes that really provide that I shouldn't eat anything before I run (nascent reflux, how I hate thee...). At least I know it's Mom I can blame for that one. ;-)
But, am now all cleaned up again, post-run, post-stretching, etc. and waiting to firm up my lunch plans. Only other plan is to buy an electrical strip so I can put the damned alarm clock beside the bed again, and not have to get up to turn the damned thing off.
