Okay, I admit it, I'm (mostly) a grammar and spelling fascist.

< rant >
So it irritates the hell out of me when I get memos, especially from attorneys, with spelling errors on them.

I mean, c'mon, word processing programs even have these little red squigglies that appear under misspelled words now, so you get a really big visual clue-in that something's not right. Ugh!

Sometimes I pine for the days before the dictionary placed a straightjacket on written expression ...

Once, when I was still relatively new at my job, I forwarded a memo to several people with one typo in it ... I was mortified! Nobody ever mentioned it, though.

Ewe like rilly need too relax, ok? spelling aint all it's craked up to be, mr atorknee man. So enuf alredy and keep yer red pen to yourselve.
