Finally saw Moulin Rouge last night (yeah, I'm a late bloomer - deal).

I can see where people either loved it or hated it. I liked it, it was a cute little love story and the music was fun. Didn't like the skipping around in the dancing scenes - they obviously put a lot of time into those and a tad more time spent on them would have been better. Ah well.

Nice relaxing night. Had dinner with virtualexile at the restaurant in my building (which is only here for a little less than a month yet), then back to see the movie.

Your comment on the dancing scenes is most everyone's annoyance with the film heheh. The dvd edition includes I think it was 2 or 3 of the dances unedited..
