Just when you thought it was safe to open your mail...

Remember how I had grand jury service for three months in Nov/Dec/Jan? Well, that was Federal Court.

Guess what came in today's mail?

Local court, petit jury summons.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

One side effect of trying to register Green, and thereby remaining unregistered in the Capital of Corruption, is that I'll never have to serve on a jury ;-)

Somehow Ive managed to never get jury duty... I suppose, however, that the very act of WRITING this will doom me sometime soon... And, hey, I started my own LJ using my FAB new computer... Suggestions???

just mentioning that I'm ~married~ to a lawyer gets me knocked off as a jury - how do you keep getting picked?

Grand jury is different. This is a petit jury, so I should get knocked off pretty quickly in voir dire. ;-)
