Plus side: Maybe people will realize that they need to properly train their animals and keep them under control.

Negative side: Nice dogs of "controversial breeds" can suffer.

I am SO GLAD this case is over (and BTW, from what I know of the case, I totally agree with the jury) - it's the leading news story here anytime there's any little new detail about it. They broke into "The View" this morning to say that the jury had finished deliberating and the verdict would be read at 1:30 local time...as if they couldn't just run a little banner across the screen a couple of times. :P

It was such a freak show and no surprise it got moved to L.A.

yeah. glad it's over, glad the jury seemed pretty clear-headed, glad the partner is also suing.

every time i'm around my vet and vet-tech friends this story, and stories like it come up. this couple were idiots, but there are lots of identical idiots all around the country. very sad.
