Ergh

I have a headache.

Please tell it to go away.

While not a migraine, I suspect it may be allergy related, which means I have to buy another supply of Claritin, at $90-odd for a month's supply (damned insurance deductibles). Can they not hurry up and make that stuff OTC already?

They're supposed to be making it OTC in this country at some point. I know I've heard that's happening...

Yes, but the drug companies are fighting it tooth and nail, so it'll be a while.

I'm one of the people for whom (the very expensive) claritin works well, so I take that. Never had nasal symptoms til I moved to DC (thank you non-native plants). Nasonex for those. Headaches are my constant companion in the Spring and Autumn. :-p

When I get sinus headaches, I just take some pseudoephedrine (Sudafed). Clears up like a charm.

Sudafed either makes me:

A. Float. ("Like, whoa, man.")
B. Hyper. ("like, omigodican'tbelieveicangetallthisdonein5minutes!")

Not good, in either case.
