My torturers employers have decided I was not cold enough in my office.

I told them I was, really I did, and I thought the shivering was a little obvious, too, but they didn't seem to get the message.

So now the AC is going full blast, and it's freezing in here.

This does not help the allergy-induced headache (it's been with me this long, so I'm now convinced it's allergies, not a cold).

I'd say "down with my employer" but Big Government Agencies like mine tend to be less than happy with people who threaten violent action against them. Touchy little bastards

So that's where all that tax money goes? I heard this is actually part of the Bush White House plan to save Social Security and cut down on turn over among Federal Employees. I think they figure if you're kept cold, you'll age slower. Therby delaying your retirement age and your need of ever getting your social security benefits.

From your descriptions of the office, it sounds like you have plenty of paper to stoke the fire with.

Yes, lots and lots of paper. Thank heavens they can't smoke in federal buildings anymore.
