Despite not having gotten onto gay.com in ages, my profile is still active, and I just got an email "response" to the profile.

(it's "legalmoose" on there [of course], if you're curious)

*sigh*

There was a time when such a thing would have excited me. The thought of a new playmate would have been something to look forward to. Now it just seems, well, impersonal and kinda dull.

Which makes me feel old.

Which is odd, because I am most certainly not old.

I'll have to debate a response to him. It's not like I have time in my social calendar for doing a lot at this point, and those evening I have free I like to have, well, free.

Thanks for your note. While I appreciate your interest (and I'm flattered by it as well), I am not really in a position to date anyone right now. I'm currently seeing two wonderful guys and, beyond that, I have a lot of things going on in my life at the moment.

I know it's odd to speak of, not one, but two gentlemen but these relationships are casual, supportive and have simply grown over time to be relationships that I want to foster and work to grow.

I hope you'll understand and I do appreciate the interest.

Now, if they were just looking for sex, I don't really have a solution for that! *snuggles*
