Procrastination

Been putting off cleaning all weekend. Suddenly, as I began making a serious shopping list for Soup Night on Tuesday (be there!) I began looking around the apartment and freaking at how much crap I have spread around on various surfaces.

The cleaning has begun. :-p

Good news is, Lawrence has to do a Fresh Fields run tonight, so will be getting good veggies for Tuesday. :-)

Speaking of cleaning, I did some culling on ye olde friends list, mainly people who haven't posted for a month or more. :-/

Shopping

Shopping was successful, if more expensive than anticipated (I don't know that I've ever gotten out of Whole Foods/Fresh Fields for under $50).

Cool things found: Large container of vanilla fudge swirl soy "ice cream"; raspberry poland spring water; really yummy looking peaches.

Dangerous thing found: October's Cooking Light (of course, the one right AFTER I decided to kill my subscription) features soup, including one that will be the subject of the next soup night, curried butternut soup. So had to get that, too. Grrr. Further proof that cookbooks/food = Moose porn.

So anyway, was a good dinner at Meiwah, good shopping, and slowly getting the apartment back together. Whee.
