Timing Woes
May. 27th, 2004 10:50 amManaged to be just slightly off in my timing, commute-wise, all morning. Got into the CH Metro station just in time to watch a train take off. 8 minute wait for the next one. Got out of the gym, threaded through the Gallery Place stop, got downstairs just in time to watch a train take off. 6 minute wait for the next one. Ugh.
Biked for 1/2 an hour, then ran for 1/2 an hour at the gym this morning. Did pretty well. Did have to stop twice in the run to adjust the new shoes, and the legs felt odd when I started the run, but they quickly adapted and off I went. Kept the pace easy on both (most annoying stationary bike I've ever ridden, though). Was supposed to do this workout yesterday, but put it off a day. Will see what swimming on Fridays is like tomorrow (if it's too crowded, directly to the weights it is!).
Da boss is out today, so I'm using today to play catch up. Surprisingly few emergencies landed on my desk, and very few voicemails, too. Thank heavens.
