Timing Woes

Managed to be just slightly off in my timing, commute-wise, all morning. Got into the CH Metro station just in time to watch a train take off. 8 minute wait for the next one. Got out of the gym, threaded through the Gallery Place stop, got downstairs just in time to watch a train take off. 6 minute wait for the next one. Ugh.
Biked for 1/2 an hour, then ran for 1/2 an hour at the gym this morning. Did pretty well. Did have to stop twice in the run to adjust the new shoes, and the legs felt odd when I started the run, but they quickly adapted and off I went. Kept the pace easy on both (most annoying stationary bike I've ever ridden, though). Was supposed to do this workout yesterday, but put it off a day. Will see what swimming on Fridays is like tomorrow (if it's too crowded, directly to the weights it is!).
Da boss is out today, so I'm using today to play catch up. Surprisingly few emergencies landed on my desk, and very few voicemails, too. Thank heavens.

Date: 2004-05-27 08:54 am (UTC)What time do you have to be at work?
And where do you find all the time to do this in the morning?
With that answered what time do you go to bed? Do you sleep?
:)
Re: Tim e What?
Date: 2004-05-27 09:27 am (UTC)I have to be at work at 9:30 (and work until 6). I arranged my schedule this way so I can exercise in the morning (because I was going to, one way or another, and was tired of being "late" all the time for work).
If I'm out the door by 7, I can be at the gym by 7:30-7:45 or so, work out for a bit (a little over an hour this morning), plus time to change before, and shower and change after, and I can usually still get into work a little earlier than my 9:30 report time, even with stopping off to get a bagel and/or coffee. I can snarf the bagel at my desk while checking email/voicemail, so no loss of time there.
Bedtime is usually 11 or later, though I try to aim for 10, 10:30. And yes, I do sleep. ;) If I didn't get enough sleep (like Tuesday night), I skip the workout, sleep in until 7 or so, then push the workout off to the next day.
