Back from Delaware.

That state has elevator issues, let me tell you. Not a one I rode didn't bob like they were going to plunge me to my death at any moment.

It didn't make for a very settling experience in tall buildings.

But am back, and will run to the Fruit Loop shortly for my once-every-three-weeks haircut. Whee.

I think the elevators are upset about all that tax-free shopping.

Were they really tall buildings? I think really tall buildings tend to have elevator shafts (heh) that are all windy and bobbly.

Running the risk of looking like a big dork I'll just mention that tall buildings (over 9 flrs) tend to run by cables and will usually run much smoother and faster.

It is the hydrolic elevators (less than 9ish floors) that tend to be rough due to imperfections in the length of the (cough) shaft.
