I saw one of these the other day on the road while biking up 19th Street. They look sooo cool. If it has any sort of trunk space, this would be perfect for grocery shopping. Anyone want to buy me one? ;-)

Oh I so want one too! :-) 'Course the only problem with the Sparrow would be that it could be very easily dwarfed and not seen by the current incarnation of land yachts populating the roadways. I suspect that is part of the reason for SUV popularity - one SUV begets more of the cursed beasties under the guise of safety thru size... (heh size queens)

But I digress... :-)

Someone in DC drives one to work and parks it every day at 18th and G NW.

those are darling. yum!

i fell in love with these (http://www.thesmart.co.uk/) in Paris. not as radically unique looking as the sparrow or merlin, but still pretty cool.

i think it says somewhere on their website that they're currently working on getting them approved for the US marked. they're manufactured by Chrystler, if i remember correctly.
