Am I the only one who's noticed that LJ likes to cut off the last character of whatever you write in an entry if you don't leave a space after it? I'm always typing a :-p at the end, forgetting the space, and it comes out as :-

Drives me nuts, especially when it hacks off a period or other sentence-ending grammatical mark and it looks like the person was too lazy to end their sentence properly. :-p

yes, yes, i have noticed this and there's a reason if you go to the "problem" section or FAQ or whatever. it has something to do with the new system they switched over, and there's a way to fix it involving what browser you use, i believe.
