Updates

Just remembered why I hadn't been updating/checking email much from work - the new Yahoo Mail uses too much java/javascript and the special version of Nutscrape 4.77 we have here doesn't like it. Doesn't like it to the point where it slows my whole computer down.

Thankfully we just approved funding to upgrade all of our computers, nationwide, and I seriously hope that includes a good copy of NS 7 or the latest IE.

And for those who asked about the recipe, I typed it in last night, and I'll post it tonight after dinner - I may need/wish/want to make some editorial comments on it before I post it. :-) The basic concept was pretty simple: make chili, make cornbread batter. Take a baking dish, put a thin layer of batter, then the chili, then the remaining batter. Top with tortilla chips and bake for 45 minutes

It could be worse. You could be using version 3.0 or older ;)

Oooh, don't remind me of the really, really ld versions.

NT 4.0.

Which was a big step up from WINDOWS FREAKING 3.11 on 486s which was what we had when I got here... in December of 1998. *shudder*

lol.. that's depressing haha ;) Did you know MS is going to completely stop supporting NT 4.0 at the end of this year? =)

If I were you, I'd just use Internet Explorer. At least NT allows you to go up to IE 5.0

Why does that not surprise me (re: NT). I'm waiting for them to pull the plug on Win98 so I have to upgrade at home, too. :-p

We don't have a choice - they've engineered the firewall such that only their custom NS gets through it, or trust me, I'd have upgraded the software long ago!
