Knives

Went over to the Board of Elections to see if I could check the signatures on the other guy's form (yes, I have competition in the race; it was too crowded to check today, but that's another story).

Was going through security and the young ladies in front of me had to stop and turn around because the one had a rather large knive and the guards wouldn't hold it for her until she got back. Her words, "If you lived where we did, you'd want one of those, too."

Running for "Advisory Neighborhood Commission" here in my DC neighborhood. Non-partisan, non-paid local office. Election is this November during the general election.
