Watchless

I decided last night to let the skin on my poor wrist breathe for the next few days, so no watch for Moose today.

Is interesting how ingrained the instinct to look at it is. I've caught myself several times trying to check the time (usually to see how soon it is before lunch *grin*). It's not like I don't have clocks all over the place here at work, but the watch is somehow more comforting (?) to see - our own expression of time that we carry with us.

I ditched my watch some time in 2000, and have been much happier and less-stressed ever since. I get done what I can, rest when I need to. It's a beautiful thing.
