I am an evil cat owner.

By which I mean I am the evil one, not that I own evil cats.

Well, most days that's what I mean.

Went to go get Free Food™ for the kitties today, having purchased enough of the overpriced stuff that they're giving me a free bag (and of course the coupon comes when the stuff is on sale - doh!). In line, spotted one of those laser pointers for cats.

I know, you can feel the evil now, can't you? ("Take it, Kronk. Ooooh, feel the power..." "Oh. I can feel it.")

So, of course I got one (why not, since I wasn't purchasing food this time around). The cats are... distracted by it. They are now trying to fish the evil red dot out from under the couch.

I love it.

Damn, where do you get those things? Those red-dot-freak-the-cat-right-the-fuck-out toys. I need new variations for kitty torture. "Kitty Wants Air" is getting kinda old. (That's the ole' plastic sack trick...)
