They don't call this neighborhood "Mount" Pleasant for nothing. Even in my tiny little single member district there's a good sized hill down 17th into the park, and there are more steps on houses than I care to recall at this moment.

Mental note: Don't go running, then go deliver campaign flyers in the neighborhood. Your knees will not be happy.

So, flyers delivered (well, all but my building which will be done either later tonight or tomorrow evening), a few more posters ordered to post tomorrow, and two more days to go.

Nope, most I did was say hello to folks as I went around. It's cold - no one was outside but me.

this may sound dumb, but what's IN mount pleasant? does your neighborhood have restaurants, coffee places, whatever?

It does have restaurants, only the one cafe (Dos Gringos), a couple small grocery stores, several stores catering to the latino population, a really good bakery, etc. It's just the one commercial strip, Mt. Pleasant street, but it's not bad.
