Calling it

Okay, with the web site unchanged, and a call to the DC Board of Elections confirming it, I'm calling this one, and I'm calling it as a win for Moose, with the numbers I cited in my last post.

Heavens, but that feels good to say.

So now it's Commissioner Moose, or it will be once I'm sworn-in in January.

It's likely that the other 70-odd voters simply didn't vote in the ANC (Advisory Neighborhood Commission) race, which is not necessarily unusual, though it is regretable.

For this morning it's a light breakfast, get cleaned up, then go take a bag and a pair of scissors and get those campaign posters down.

Yup, the posters came down, and in one place where someone had removed all of the posters in front of the polling place I used my scissors to get the extra tape down. We have 30 days, but why wait?
