I feel so... proper. I just made contact with a stationer so I can go in and look at getting correspondence cards, business cards and the like printed.

Miss Manners would be so proud.

Hee hee...I love business cards.

I remember the cards you had made up years ago, I guess you were at W&L. They were this cool pale blue and white fiber paper-looking cardstock. There might have been some Chinese characters on them too, but it's been a while since I saw them. Probably before I moved to CA, of course. :P

Anyway...what are you doing this time, or do you know yet?

The business cards, probably basic white or off-white, thermographic print (not worth making up a die for engraving them), black text, cotton card stock, and very basic information (name, ANC, address, email, phone) in a simple font. I don't want anything too fancy as I have older constituents who would have to be able to read it. Plus I'm sensitive to friends who have visual difficulties so I want them to be legible for them.

The correspondence cards will be a medium card stock, off-white, embossed border, with my name across the top of the card (and the address printed on the matching envelopes). I'm still torn on using the full legal name (complete with the II) or on using the one I ran with (the one most people call me - think the two simple verbs/nouns there).

I'm going to get the correspondence cards done up first, then get the business cards done later, maybe next month.
