Thanksgiving

Okay, for Thanksgiving, I'm thinking:

• Amaranth-studded Cornbread


• Cranberry Relish with Apples and Pears


• Sweet Dumpling Squash with Chesnut Stuffing and Lima Bean Gravy


• Sauteed Haricots Verts with Horseradish


• Fennel, Orange, and Pomegranate Salad

Now I just have to come up with a dessert...

Aren't haricots verts just plain green beans? Or are they prepared a special French way?

They're the skinniest and most delicate of the breen beans, but yes, they're just plain old green beans. :-)
