Assuming no price differential, Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional? And why?

Okay, never mind, MS's site was actually useful for once. :-p Assuming no price difference, I'd run with the Professional version for the updated features.

XP Pro since you are a pro not a home.

I say pro because from my experiences at work, Home is basically just pro STRIPPED of those extra features and as such it works as well as one would expect. Avoid Home edition. ;)
