Was out at B&N last night before the reception. Since getting the new (to me) camera this week (thank you, lioncub!!), I'm realizing I know nothing about photography, composition, lighting, etc.

and honestly there are some really, really, REALLY good photographers on my friends list and I find this all very intimidating even though I shouldn't because I'm not a photographer

Looked at some books, and there was just too much out there to choose from. Blech. And no time right now to read them, anyway. So I'll just puzzle through and see what comes of it all, I suppose

eh so you can be a hack photographer like me, just point and click....

seriously though, i've been thinking about taking a photography class...i'd liek to learn how to develope my own prints and do some black and white work.

I've tried and tried, but I can't master picture taking so I just point and click now hehe. =) I really need a higher quality camera to get the type of pictures I want. ;)
