Well, well, well
Dec. 18th, 2002 12:12 pmThe work drama continues.
I have been trying to get them to move me out of the budget shop and down to the attorneys' shop for a while now. The latest thing seems to be moving me down so I can do the appropriations law stuff I do now and also pick up government contracting. Which I am more than willing to do (not least of which because experience in gov't contracting can go outside of government, which appropriations cannot, so I'd be more marketable if I wanted to go elsewhere).
Now the dance has come to a point where I have to engage the major managers and see how we're to work a transition. They all seem to be on board, but no one's pushing the thing over the edge so it actually happens, so I'm shoving, as gently and as tactfully as I can.
