Went and saw Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers this evening with lioncub.

I feel a rant coming on, but will write later.

Let's just say they don't make audiences like they used to.

I've noticed the same in regards to (british version) the Theatre over here

like after a retro-modern MacBeth I heard:

A: when was that set?
B: the 70s!!
A: don't be stupid! they didn't have guns in the 70s!
C: or light bulbs!

*rolls eyes*
or maybe that's just people being stupid ^_^

The thing that annoyed me most was that I was at a prestigious, older, quite nice, quite pricey theater, and not downtown at one of the skanky theaters, so I was not expecting the cheering and clapping that went on around me. Was odd.
